I cut my own hair last week, mainly because I was bored. It's a disaster, but easily covered up. Note to self: go to saloon instead next time.
For this look, I used Stage Photo Pro Foundation in 08 take 7. That's the second darkest from Photo Pro line, but it's a tad light on my skin. Gosh, I tanned so much.
I hardly brought eyeshadow that low under my eye, because I'm scared it would overwhelmed my small eyes. But it seems to work in the pics.
p/s: Sorry that I hardly reply comments the past weeks. It's been hectic with trip to Bako and stuff. It get worse with my netbook caught virus and practically useless at the moment. Luckily, I had my files back up-ed earlier.

Okay, sorry for the cheesy title for this post, but I couldn't help it since this look done using ELF Brightening Eye Color quad in Blue Moon. I feel lining my eyes this way makes me look awkward, but it looks good in pic.
I used two new stuffs in this look, ELF Studio Blush in Berry Merry and Avon Simply Pretty ColorBliss Lipstick in Amethyst.

Ganguro Inspired Look for a Cause.
FunnyFace Beauty hosting a challenge to raise fund for Japan. For each reader done a look inspired by Japan, $10 will be donated for Japan via Canadian Red Cross. For more information regarding the challenge, click here. I encourage everyone to join this challenge!
I had done a ganguro look before, there's a lot to improve from previous look. This time, I manage to do better dramatic contouring for my nose. My lips also much paler from the previous ganguro look. The only thing is, I'm not that happy with the eyes. Somehow I end up with smokey eyes instead of the ganguro eyes. One more thing. I just spray enough hair spray to thin out the ozone layer instead of getting blonde wig. Enough rant. Pics pwease~

Tag: Hollywood celebrity inspired makeup look - Cyndi Lauper
I didn't noticed I was tagged by Yana to do Hollywood celebrity inspired makeup look. I'm not in anyway a beauty guru, more to a padawan XD (sorry for geeky reference). Pepper being Pepper, I choose to do Cyndi Lauper. I feel comfortable doing Cyndi's 80s look than doing the current glamour look of Hollywood celebrities. Oh ya, before someone says Cyndi is not a Hollywood celebrity but a singer, she's an actress too. Just check out her entry in Wikipedia to see her filmography.
Since I'm still in 80s makeup fever I pick Cyndi Lauper's look from her album cover for the song Time After Time. The look is typical of 80s look. People literally paint their face with bright colours, in this case, bright orange eyes and hot pink cheeks.
So, my interpretation limited to all that I have in my makeup stash. So I couldn't help not making it looking exactly like Cyndi's pic. To begin with, the orange I have is far more intense and more shimmery than the one observed in the picture above. There are lot more difference, so let the picture do the talk.

So yeah, that's the inspired look from Cyndi Lauper. I'm done with the tag, yippie!

Something 80s V2
Yesterday's "Something 80s" for me doesn't seem to do justice for the 80s makeup. So what 80s looks all about? Well, to begin with is bright colorful eye makeup paired with strongly contoured cheeks. Not to forget equally bright eye-catching lipstick and side-sweep hair. The hair most of the time are curly and voluminous.
This time I managed to nail the look. Of course there are more that can be improve, but I'm contented, especially with the eyeshadow. The only thing I would change is the blusher. I should piled on more blusher cos it look washed out in the pics.

I'm pretty sure this not gonna be last of "Something 80s" look. 80s makeup is too colorful and fun to be done only once or twice.

Something 80s?
I actually tried to recreate look from YouTuber, manwomanfilm's tutorial. Click here for the tutorial link. I tried twice, sadly, my skill is not enough to recreate the look. Furthermore, my eyes too small to recreate that dynamic line she create with her eyeshadow.
Somehow, the eye look I'd done reminds me a lot of the looks from the 80s. So, I slap on tonnes of blusher, contour like no tomorrow and find the brightest lipstick in my stash. Put on bright clothing and swipe my frizzy hair to one side.

So what do you think? Does this look like something from 80s?

Ganguro? Yamanba? I don't know~ *shrug*
You have a foundation that is way too dark and too orange for you, what do you do with it? Ganguro inspired look of course! Let me be the first to say, it hardly look like ganguro, nor yamanba. All I see is me with very tan skin, smokey eyes and pale lips. At least I have fun doing something different for this look.
Camwhoring.
Any suggestion or tips on Ganguro or Yamanba look? I like to try to do this again until I get the look right.
