Stage Cosmetics Bargain Alert + Haul!

You know what? I might as well end the self imposed makeup shopping ban. I managed to survive on the first month. On the second month, I broke the ban for a foundation and the sponsored shopping spree courtesy of my boyfriend and his mum. Third month, I broke the ban for this amazing haul!

It felt like eureka moment discovering Stage Cosmetics at such a discounted price. Let me tell you, this local brand really comparable to MAC! Before you guys go out and end up with panic shopping hoarding the goodies, I think it is important to tell you that most of the items, especially foundations and concealers was manufactured on 2008, the SA told me it expired end of this year. But Pepper being Pepper, I think I would toss it when it actually smell or look funky.

Ok, I try to remember all the stuff the SA told me. Foundation, concealer, eyeshadow base, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip liner, lipgloss, lipstick and face primer discounted to RM12 each!

The loot haul.

So, I end up with two bottles of Keep It Clean Brush Cleaner for RM25, two bottles of Strip Show Nail Polish Remover for RM8 per bottle, Wonderluxe Lipstick in Naughty Nude 01 for RM12, Photo Pro Creme Camouflage in Ginger 07 for RM12, Photo Pro Foundation in 08 Take 07 for RM 12, and Eye Liner in Teal Theater 07 for RM12.

Total damages: RM 81. The total without discount would be RM329. You noticed in the picture below I have two receipts. When I first bought all the items I want, I went back to get another bottle of nail polish remover and an eyeliner.
The picture below taken after I apply the foundation, concealer, eyeliner and lipstick. I have tried all the product just and let me tell you that I'm impressed with the quality. My skin look 10x better with the concealer and foundation on.
The concealer suits my skintone very well that I can apply it without foundation. The creamy consistency make it very easy to apply and to blend. It is also buildable without being cakey.

The foundation is ah-ma-ZING! A little goes a long way, it cover without feeling heavy. Definitely buildable.

Eyeliner is super! It's the first pencil eyeliner that won't smudge on my oily eyelid. It is also waterproof and smudge proof. Once it set, it smudge only when I rub really really hard.

Lipstick is also nice, the only con would be it's a bit drying. It can't be help since most lipstick in matte formulation can be drying.

Nail polish remover is da bomb! Even in original price, the nail polish really economical. And it remove nail polish very well. A little goes a long way with this.

And lastly, new love, Keep It Clean brush cleaner. With normal price of RM25, this is definitely cheap dupe for MAC brush cleanser. It works and the best thing, it comes with spray pump! Definitely a keeper.

p/s: Oh ya, before I forget, Stage concealer and foundation coloring are quite limited. The second darkest foundation and darkest concealer suits my NC25-30 skintone. Okay, I tried it again in better lighting, the foundation turn out to be a little darker. So I'm gonna get the lighter shade this weekend.

Bargain Alert!!!: The Color Institute Premier Glamour Essential Makeup Carry-On

During my trip to KL last week, I paid a visit to my sisters at their part time job and one of them bought me a birthday (after I persuade her XD). She recommend me to get this set since the price is a steal!It include a huge carrying bag.

and a lot of makeup stuffs inside.

There are 9 eyeshadow duo, 2 lipgloss quad, 4 nail polishes and a tube of lipgloss. There are also super tiny sponge tip applicator (not in pic) and lip brush.

And all of it for RM20. Take note of the expiry date tho. I don't mind since the product was not opened or touch before. I will definitely throw it away if it start to smell or look funky.

I got mine from Metrojaya, The Curve, Damansara. I'd tried most of the stuffs, I think it is perfect for office, classes or daily makeup. I'm gonna do a proper review once I had used the products frequent enough.
